Managing Agents: • Manage installer relationships. • Communicate project requirements in line with PNZ Carbon messaging guidelines. • Support the provision and validation of required data and supporting documentation. • Facilitate efficient onboarding and ongoing project compliance. Managing Agents do not determine eligibility decisions, calculate emission reductions or make decisions on credit issuance. These remain subject to the defined processes and compliance requirements of the project.

Installers contract directly with PNZ Carbon. Managing Agents support installer onboarding, communication and data coordination, but all contractual relationships relating to emissions reductions, emissions rights and carbon credit origination sit directly with PNZ Carbon, as the Project Proponent.

No. All Managing Agents operate under a single, standardised commercial framework. There are no preferential, bespoke or exclusive arrangements available within the project. Agents are engaged under consistent contractual terms and are remunerated in line with defined agreements for their contribution to supporting installer access and project delivery.

The current Managing Agent structure applies to private sector retrofit activity. While exploratory discussions may take place regarding future structures, any extension to social housing activity would require formal agreement, defined processes and revised contractual terms. No changes to the Managing Agent structure will apply unless formally communicated by PNZ Carbon in conjunction with its project partner, the Housing Associations' Charitable Trust (HACT).
